Tips to get the most out of your inkjet cartridge.

Always have a spare cartridge on hand so that your printing job won't be interrupted. It's affordable to do when you use our services.

When installing any cartridge you should print at least 2 pages to be sure it is working properly. If at this time the print is unsatisfactory, go to our troubleshooting section.

Do not let your cartridge run completely out of ink. Continued printing with an empty cartridge could damage the cartridge.

Do not put tape on the copper strip or print head (where the ink comes out) as this can damage the cartridge.

Save the plastic sealing clip from our remanufactured cartridge and when the cartridge is empty, using a damp paper towel wipe the print head (where the ink comes out). Then place the print head onto the pad of the clip and snap the cartridge into the clip. This is the best step you can take towards getting the most out of your cartridge. If you don't have a sealing clip, put the cartridge in a zip lock bag.

The sooner you refill your cartridge the better. The longer it sits, the drier it gets and that reduces the odds of it working properly again. Less than a week is best but either way bring it in and we will put it through our process. If it fails, we do not charge anything for trying and we can then get you set up with another cartridge.

Excessive shaking or leaving it in a hot car for extended periods of time can cause damage or leaking.

It is best to store full cartridges upright.

If you notice lines, streaks or colors changing or missing, go to our troubleshooting section for help.

You should always keep your printer cleaned and maintained according to the owner's manual.

Do not expose the cartridge to direct sunlight or room light.

Toner is not hazardous; however if your hands or clothes have toner on them, wash your hands with cool water and soap. For clothes you can simply brush off outside in the open air. Do not wash toner-stained clothes in hot water as the heat may set the toner into a permanent stain. Use cold water only.
